This post will explain the war module of Goldentowns. It is still in the beta phase so not everything will work as planned.
For the war you need soldiers and they can be trained in the barracks. Every soldier has 3 stats:
Soldier stats:
• Attack – if the soldier is used offensive this stat will be used
• Defensive – if soldier is used on the defensive this stat is used
• Speed – how much a unit can travel per hour (how long the soldier needs to reach the village you want to attack)
Attack/ Defend village:
If you want to attack a village you will win if the sum of attack damage of your soldiers is greater than the defense value of the defending troops and the other way around when you defend.
Soldiers die depending on the difference of the attack and defense value. If you succeed in conquering a village the owner of the village must pay you 10% taxes. It is currently not possible to withdraw soldiers from an occupied village in Goldentowns
How to free your town:
If you are being occupied you still can train new soldiers and free you village by pressing the deliberate town button when you are not in the home screen (for example market). This will count as an attack so your troops will use the attack value and the defender the defense value.
For example if you want to attack a village which has 3 soldiers with total of 300 defensive and attack with 5 soldiers with 100 attack each( a total of 500). Then every defender will die and you lose 3 soldiers.
Barracks:
• level 1 – Infantry soldier
• level 2- archer
• level 3 – cavalry
• level 4 – universal soldier
• level 5 spy ( not working yet)
Soldiers:
• infantry soldier: 100 defense, 25 offense, 25 speed - good defensive unit
• archer : 25 defense, 100 offense, 25 speed – good offensive unit
• cavalry: 25 defense, 25 offense, 100 speed – fast but weak
• universal soldier: 100 defense , 100 attack , 100 speed – best unit so far
International war:
You can send soldiers to every war as either attacker or defender. If you win the attack the country is being occupied and starts paying taxes to the winner until they are free again or being occupied by another country. You get an percentage of these taxes according to your commitment to the war (how many points your soldiers made to the total points made).
You can collect these taxes under war -> wars -> wars in which you have fought.
Note: Soldiers send to this war will die at the end. These wars can make you quite some income in Goldentowns if you occupy the country for some time.
Status of the war module:
Many things are still not implemented only the barracks and the 4 soldier types are already working as intended. The other features will be added in the future. If new things are added in Goldentowns i will post the news on this blog.
Known bugs:
• producing of soldiers cost 125 wood, iron, stone and meat but the barracks says is need 500 iron and you need to have 500 iron in the inventory
• you cannot withdraw troops from an occupied village

Goldentowns Guide : Check Polulation Live Left Day Before Working
This is very important to check the live left of each population before producing any raw production.
Why is that important?
You can go on to produce raw with 1 day left worker but once 1 worker die, the production process will stop and you need to replace with new one and restart working again, so it's useless of your first working process and waste your time too.
So, just check your working live left day before going to work.
The minimum of your worker day should be at least 3 days since level 5 producing time is 2 days and 3 days is safe but you must login to check out and get the raw before that particular worker die.
Here is how to check the process ...
Click at particular raw building before process working and check the first worker live left, here is 1 day left.
So, just click at the particular worker and it will remove that worker.
And click again to refill new worker and you should have more workers or else it will replace the same worker.
And now, you have the new worker and safe to start working process.
This should be doing for every time you want to start producing raw, Good luck.

GoldenTowns Level 11-20+
Congratulations for reaching Level 11, this stage will test your economic skills on how you can budget your resources and energy consumption. Here are the lists of your objectives on this crucial stage:
#1 Level 5 or Q5 Production Buildings - the six standard production building must be upgraded to q5 in order to save energy.
#2 Happiness 100% - having 100% happiness can easily earn you gold by selling some of your unskilled workers, then the gold can be used to buy energy packs if you like. It can also make all your workers lifespan extend to 60 days.
#3 Conserve Energy - save as much as you can since energy packs are quiet expensive. When repairing your building it would be wise to wait for 85% degradation to save energy. If there is a dying worker in a factory, don't operate it because it can disrupt the process when it dies and you will not only lose energy but also time.
#4 Build q5 production building according to this ratio:
Vegetable Farm 3
Meat Farm 2
Wood Factory 1.5
Stone Factory 1.5
Iron Factory 1
Clay Factory 1
For every 3 vegetable farms there should be; 2 meat farm, 1.5 wood factory, 1.5 stone factory, 1 iron factory and 1 clay factory. This is to balance the production cost since 1 q5 clay factory need 80 meat, 80 wood, 80 stone and 80 iron in order to produce 350 clay (tax deducted). The rest you can calculate it by yourself depending on the number of your factories operational cost.
This is all I can share because all of it are pretty redundant just like the guide in Level 1-10. Just continue where you left and proceed to upgrading all production buildings to q5, acquiring 100% happiness, save your energy, and build a balance production factories. Always remember that this is just only a game so have fun and enjoy!
