Goaltycoon Guide: How to Train Player

Training is one of the most important things to make your player stronger and win the game.

To train player, click Training and hold particular player and place in area your want to train that player.

You do all the same to other player, easy right?

Here are recommended training type you should train for each of your player.

Pure Forwards
CF = Centre Forwards, IF = Inside Forwards
These are you strike force, with the best support in the world from the midfield and a brilliant defence, if your guys can't put the ball in the back of the opponents' net you won't be winning any games.
Core Training : Shoot
2ndry Training : Head Shot (if tall)
Tertiary Training : Speed, Ball Control, Stamina, Passing, Long Shot

Offensive Support
HO = Hole (inbetween strikers & mid), OM = Offensive Midfield
Many formations have a more aggressive stance, behind the forwards come the offensive support, also a danger in their own right.
Core Training : Head Shot (if tall)
2ndry Training : Long Shot, Ball Control, Shoot
Tertiary Training : Passing, Stamina, Speed, Tackling

Central Core
CM = Central Midfielders, DM = Defensive Midfielders
Right in the centre of the pitch, these players I'd often recommend are where your money should be, if nothing else, because they will see most of the ball, dictating the game plus being both a boon to attack and defence.
Core Training : Ball Control
2ndry Training : Long Shot, Passing, Stamina
Tertiary Training : Speed, Tackling (Core if DM)

Flanks
RW / LR = Right & Left Wingers. SLM / SRM = Right & Left Side Midfielders
These players try to create play down the flanks, stretching defences plus cross the ball into the box, I'd choose one of these plus probably one of the centre or offence to have exceptionally high long shot stats to take corners / free kicks.
Core Training : Long Shot
2ndry Training : Speed, Passing, Ball Control
Tertiary Training : Tackling, Stamina

The Defence
CB = Centre Backs, SW = Sweepers, FLB / FRB = Full Left Back, Full Right Back, WLB / WRB = Wing Left & Right Backs.
There to shut down, lock out and limit any ventures into your own half of the pitch by your opponents, not sure how detailed goaltycoon's model of the game will work though usually a very strong defence may appear to be a dull tactic however it usually means the rest of the team is more able to attack.
Core Training : Tackling
2ndry Training : Speed, Stamina
Tertiary Training : Passing

Keepers
GK = Goalkeepers
Your last line of defence, the only player able to handle the ball, unsure at this point if any stat other than goal keeping is worth training. Not really sure why they have only gone with psychical stats, where's all the players' reactions / nerve / determination?
Core Training : Keeping
Tertiary Training : (unsure of all these) Long Shot, Passing, Speed, Stamina, Tackling

GoldenTowns Level 11-20+

Note: X mark sign is not suitable spot for production building. There should be a q1 restaurant beside the city/townhall in order to upgrade it to q5.

Congratulations for reaching Level 11, this stage will test your economic skills on how you can budget your resources and energy consumption. Here are the lists of your objectives on this crucial stage:

#1 Level 5 or Q5 Production Buildings - the six standard production building must be upgraded to q5 in order to save energy.

#2 Happiness 100% - having 100% happiness can easily earn you gold by selling some of your unskilled workers, then the gold can be used to buy energy packs if you like. It can also make all your workers lifespan extend to 60 days.

#3 Conserve Energy - save as much as you can since energy packs are quiet expensive. When repairing your building it would be wise to wait for 85% degradation to save energy. If there is a dying worker in a factory, don't operate it because it can disrupt the process when it dies and you will not only lose energy but also time.

#4 Build q5 production building according to this ratio:

       Vegetable Farm    3
       Meat Farm          2
       Wood Factory     1.5
       Stone Factory      1.5
       Iron Factory        1
       Clay Factory       1

For every 3 vegetable farms there should be; 2 meat farm, 1.5 wood factory, 1.5 stone factory, 1 iron factory and 1 clay factory. This is to balance the production cost since 1 q5 clay factory need 80 meat, 80 wood, 80 stone and 80 iron in order to produce 350 clay (tax deducted). The rest you can calculate it by yourself depending on the number of your factories operational cost.

This is all I can share because all of it are pretty redundant just like the guide in Level 1-10. Just continue where you left and proceed to upgrading all production buildings to q5, acquiring 100% happiness, save your energy, and build a balance production factories. Always remember that this is just only a game so have fun and enjoy!

After you finish the tutorial guide you would get additional 2 buildings. A Level 1 Market and a Level 2 house. Don’t upgrade these buildings because you would demolish them when you level up to give way for the production buildings. You only need to repair it if it degrades. The perecentage is up to you but don’t let it become a ruin because ground breaking costs a lot.

After this, don’t build any production buildings or goldmine or you might get bankrupt or forced demolish due to lack of resources.
NOTE: Don’t build additional production buildings like vegetable farm, meat farm, wood farm, stone farm and goldmine. Just upgrade your existing buildings because they are indestructible and they don’t degrade.

First objective:

1. Don’t operate/start Clay and Iron factory because it consumes a lot of your resources
2. operate/start vege, meat, stone & wood production if available
3. Hire more workers if it’s available in your city hall or if your population is less than 100%
4. Build level 2 roads to your vegetable farm. If you don’t have any worker available, just log off and wait until there’s a new worker.
5. Upgrade your vegetable farm to level 2
6. operate/start meat, stone & wood production if available, if not proceed to next step.
7. Build level 2 roads from City Hall to Meat Farm. Exactly 6 squares from city hall.
8. Upgrade Meat farm to level 2
FAQ: Why did we build to the meat farm first instead of the Vegetable farm even though the Stoon and wood factory is near it?
Answer: To avoid getting bankrupt, the meat production can’t beat the stone and wood production due to its level gap.
9. Upgrade stone farm to level 2
10. Upgrade wood farm to level 2
11. Don’t produce clay and iron. Operate only if both clay and iron are less than 40.
12. Build level 2 roads to that far right side. Around 7-8 squares from the city hall.

13. Upgrade 3 house infront of the market. (Refer to the picture) . Balance upgrade between production and building.
14. Build level 3 road from city hall to Vegetable farm
15. Upgrade Vegetable farm to level 3
16. Build Level 3 road from city hall to meat farm then upgrade meat farm, stone farm, wood farm to level 3
17. Upgrade Clay farm and Iron farm to level 2
18. Build level 3 road from city hall to 3 houses in front of market
19. Build a police station beside the market (left side). Please refer to the pic.
20. Police station built. Upgrade houses to level 3 that are influenced by the station.
21. Upgrade market to level 2.
22. Upgrade 3 houses to level 2.
23. Build a school beside the police station (refer to picture).
24. Train policeman from school.
25. Hire policeman to Police Station. WARNING: Don’t fire/terminate a policeman, it won’t come back. It will be demoted to an ordinary unskilled worker. (Not sure if it’s a bug but my policemen did not come back.)
